Originally titled: Presidents and Politics in Prophecy
The United States of America has just completed the longest Presidential campaign in its history. For more than two years the people have been subjected to a constant barrage of platitudes and promises coming from the candidates.
That is part of the process, but frightening events of political, economic, and international scope are raising doubts in the people that “change” may not go as smoothly as promised. Even the newly elected President expressed his own warnings that change may not happen as quickly as most people think or hope.
"Change," unfortunately, has always been a catch phrase of those who desire power over the people. Demagogues throughout history have softened the people with the promise of change in order to gain position. In this latest race, both candidates sincerely preached their own doctrine of change. Lest some be offended I will not list those who in the historical record also promised change, and a "new reign" or "down with the current regime and up with the new."
However, in spite of our efforts real change is coming. It is called the “Great Change” or the “Restoration!”
There is no question that confusion about end time prophecies is rampant. Prophecies of Scripture tell about the destruction of religions as the world moves closer to the next age, and about the rise of a radicalized religion that sweeps nearly all of the world under its control.
On that subject a reader wrote this comment:
“I find it hard to believe that the Persian empire colud[sic] rise from Iran. I believe that empire was delt[sic] a death blow by the Macedonian empire. The only empire that I see rising is the Holy roman empire. Watch as the pope gains more power and respect.” Richard
In this post I will address this issue and provide evidence that the above assumptions have no place in the end time prophecies about Armageddon and the “great tribulation.”
This newly released book sheds light on the evidence of time periods written in the books of Daniel and Revelation. Before Prophecy Unsealed! was written no other writer told the truth and provided supporting evidence about the time
s, days, and events prophesied for the end of our age.
Using information provided by the Book of Enoch, the Torah, and the Prophets, this book assembles evidence leading to the understanding of prophecies that were sealed, according to the Scriptures, until this time. This information challenges the current thought about eschatology. The author does not accept the popular explanations of evangelical and fundamentalist views of either the end of the ages or the current view of salvation. Instead, he shows what the hope of the world is according to Scriptures, and answers the question about why we are alive and what really happens after death. Rejecting the Epistles of Paul in the New Testament, this book uses only the documents available to the Apostles to provide a remarkably different and insightful explanation of prophecies that were kept hidden until our time.
This book is both challenging and controversial, because, as the author states, it speaks from a context and reality not experienced by most readers, and outside the realm of modern religious thought, beliefs, and education. The author says, “Readers who can understand the context of this book and the information it contains, will find a revelatory experience that will change their lives. Some readers will understand immediately what this book expounds.”
Although my earlier titles, Hidden Prophecy, and The Woman Clothed with the Sun contained some of the information. These last two titles contained chapters about the history of the current calendars, which I learned many readers found difficult. These have been removed and newly written chapters, edited from this blog, were added in the hope that what I really want to say is much clearer, but you will have to be the judge of that.
No rehash of untrue dogma, myths, and theories will you find contained in these pages.
The last two assemblies or groups of called-out people are probably the most well-known and the least understood. In the previous posts on the promises to overcomers, I wrote how all the problems that threatened the people were spiritual and caused by religions.
In this Bible study we will see those who remained unaffected by religion and those who created their own. Remember all groups or assemblies of people written about in chapters two and three of the Book of Revelation consist of people who had received the call. But again, “Many are called.”
Why someone would want to create their own religion is not a big mystery. The biggest reason is because they don’t want to have anything to do with the religions that afflicted the other groups. Their eyes may have been opened to the problems of the other groups. But instead of moving into truth, they adopted traditions and practices from sources unknown to the other groups or assemblies, and made those their own. To quote the SNL Church Lady, “How convenient!”
Looking around to see how others “worship” and adopting their ways has been and still is the biggest step to creating a nation doomed to spiritual failure. The Unites States and all of Western civilization are nations that have done that.
The most difficult task is to become humble as a person and as a nation and learn the truth by obtaining the spiritual connection with Elah [God] and Eyahuwah, the One called LORD in the scriptures. In other words, returning to the righteousness of our fathers, from Adam, through Enoch, Noah and his sons, the fathers of all who live today, and through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, if you can call them your fathers. Then you will learn the truth; your life will be changed; your future will be assured; and you will fear nothing. This is true for individuals. It is true for nations.
