There is a certain place called “Tartaros.” mentioned in 2 Peter 2. This is a place where the messengers that sinned have been and will be imprisoned. Enoch also referred to a place that some believe is a “black hole.” But what is seen in vision can be either real or symbolic. The assumption about “hell” is tied to the false doctrine of the “immortal soul.” The promises of immortality and entwined with the resurrection and the new immortal body. That is something that we do not possess at this time. So the notion that one at death either goes to heaven or to hell has nothing with human life. In Hebrew “Sheol” has been incorrectly translated as “hell.” That came from the idea of a “hell” from mythology. “Sheol” means “grave.” The Greek word “hades” is used to translate the Hebrew “sheol” into Greek. Then the English translated came along and translated “hades” in “hell” based upon the mythology. Then the circular reasoning of ignorant theologians took over and started teaching and preaching the “heaven or hell” fable.

Where did this false teaching come from? It has to be from the “doctrines of demons” that permeate religious teachings.

Now here is where many people will stumble. There were two camps that sprang up in the first century AD. One of the appointed Jewish Apostles of who James, Peter, and John were the leaders. Then came Paul who appointed himself as an apostle. He was later joined by Mark and Luke and together they pulled together the Greek New Testament. To further corrupt the disciples of Yahushua, Mark and Luke wrote a version of the gospel of Matthew in opposition to the Apostle. Quietly in the background was the Apostle John who later wrote a counter to the writings of Mark, Luke and Paul. Mark included such things a snake-handling and the drinking of poison. Symbolically, this is true as handling the writings and consuming Paul’s words is spiritually the same as handling poisonous snakes and drinking poison. His words are deadly. Luke included events that fit within later church teachings. However, many of Luke’s events are not supported by the rest of Scriptures. Certain phrases in both Mark’s and Luke’s writings are diametrically opposite to Matthew’s accounts of the same events. They are called “synoptic” but that is hardly the case. The so-called “Harmony” of the gospels is a myth. If they are harmony, we would hear the discordance when we listen closely to what was written. Mark, Luke, or Paul were NOT appointed apostles. Mark was rejected by Paul. This was recorded in Acts 15. Some think that the book of Acts of the Apostles suddenly became the Acts of Paul immediately after this split. From that point on the remainder of the book lacks the Hebrew idioms that were present in the first half. Paul considered that Mark “would be useful” to him. However, with so much intrigued going on, Mark may have infiltrated Paul’s inner circle and encoded the snake handing and poison as a warning. Paul wrote to Timothy, “Luke alone is with me. Take Mark and bring him with you for he is of good use to me for service.” (2 Timothy 4:11).

Later on the Apostle John who had outlived everyone else wrote about this deception and encoded it in his Gospel and in the Book of Revelation. Also his letters warned about the anti-christ leaders and teachers that were corrupting and continue to corrupt to this day. “They went out from us,” he said. If they had been part of us, they would not have departed.

I think you answered your own question. What I meant about “oppression” is a reference to the teachings of the Nikolaites– the “oppressors of the people.” That is another reference to Paul’s influence. The church has used oppression and guilt to inflict people with a feeling of worthlessness “in the sight of God.” Such teachings are doctrines of demons and the messengers that sinned, and their human offspring. Yahushua told the Pharisees and those that hated Him, that they were of their father the devil — the chief spiritual oppressor and liar from the beginning.

John made it very clear in I John 4. This is how we can tell the difference.

4 You are of EL, little children, and have overcome them [the anti-messiah teachers], because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5 They are of the world, therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.
6 We are of EL. Tthe one knowing EL hears us. He who is not of EL does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of the Truth and the spirit of the delusion.
7 Beloved ones, let us love one another, because love is of EL, and everyone who loves has been born [or conceived] of EL, and knows EL.
8 The one who does not love does not know EL, for EL is love.
9 By this the love of EL was manifested in us, that EL has sent His only brought-forth Son into the world, in order that we might live through Him.
10 In this is love, not that we loved EL, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be an atoning offering for our sins.
11 Beloved ones, if EL so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has seen EL at any time. If we love one another, EL does stay in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we stay in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
14 And we have seen and bear witness that the Father [EL is the Father] has sent the Son, Savior of the world.
15 Whoever confesses that יהושע [Yahushua] is the Son of EL, EL stays in him, and he in EL.
16 And we have known and believed the love that EL has for us. EL is love, and he who stays in love stays in EL, and EL in him.
17 By this love has been perfected with us, in order that we might have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear holds punishment, and he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

That is the evidence that I see, and about which I wrote in the comment. But that is different from suffering and trials. We all have those both the righteous and the wicked. But just having trials does not mean that we are either righteous or wicked. Furthermore, there are degrees of perfection. So no one can boast. Instead, we should love as EL loves.

Everyone belongs to EL and to His Son, and we should never lose sight of that. These are difficult times, so we need to endure and keep our eyes fixed on the coming Kingdom and Age of Righteousness.

Why you think that you may “never belonged to EL in the first place,” is really outside the context of the Scriptures and the Word of Yahua. All people living or dead, righteous or wicked “belong to EL” and to His Son. So it is not a matter of “status” but of realization. “EL did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be delivered [or saved.]”

Do not lose heart or get tangled up with doubt. If you do not see the Hope that lies before all, then just keep looking and praying to the Father for wisdom. Patient endurance is part of the process. Read the section from I John again, and make that something that you meditate on to start your day.
