END TIME: Equinox September 22, 2008 15:40 UTC Enoch’s Third Quarter Begins

On the long lost calendar originally revealed to Enoch by Uriel, the first day of each quarter was either an equinox or a solstice. That is also the first day (day number one) of the first month of the quarter. But only the months that start with the equinox determine the true time of the Feasts and High Days.

No other calendar on earth carries as much insight to prophecy and the destiny of mankind than Enoch’s calendar. Ignorance of this truth brings a curse across the entire earth and on its people …

How Important is the Jubilee Year?

The Hebrew word translated Jubilee or Jubile (KJV) means trumpet or ram’s horn. The blowing of the trumpet on the forty-ninth year on the tenth day of the seventh month on the revealed calendar signaled a time of liberty and restoration with the fiftieth year:

You shall number seven sabbaths [weeks] of years to you, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths [weeks] of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement (YOM KIPPUR) shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

And you shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and you shall return every man to his possession, and you shall return every man to his family.

A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be to you. You shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of your vine undressed. For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy [set-apart] to you: you shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. From Leviticus 25

The following are examples of how the Jubilee years played out in nations and people, when the conditions are right.

END TIME: Part 7 – Oil for the Seven Lamps

The word “apocalypsis” is the Greek name of the book of Revelation, from which we get our word apocalypse. Because the word is associated with the prophecies about the end of our age, many assume the word means “doom” or “destruction.”

But it does not. The word literally means “revelation” — a spiritual process where the Spirit opens our mind by dreams, direct contact, by meditation, visions, by whatever the Spirit finds best, to help us understand things we otherwise might not grasp. John the Apostle wrote:

The anointing, which you have received from Him, stays in you. And you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is not falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him. And now, little children, stay in Him, so that when He appears, we might have boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
From I John 2

[First] [Previous]

This Bible study series contains some very strong words for a special group of people symbolized by the Seven Lamps belonging to the one lampstand. Some translators of the Book of Revelation used “lampstand” or “candlestick” instead of “lamp” when translating this passage.

But a lamp in Greek is a vessel into which oil is poured, and it has a wick that brings the oil to the spout to burn and give light. It is not a candlestick, nor is the lamp the lampstand on which the lamps are placed.

Although some made a career of studying the Greek New Testament, it does have weaknesses, which most often show up in the translations. The use of the word candlestick or lampstand instead of lamp is one case. Greek is not a theological language, it is philosophical and forms a context for Western thought.

But these two chapters of Revelation can only be understood within the context of the Scriptures and Hebraic thought. Here is what I mean: The Law and the Prophets tell about the gold lampstand with its seven gold lamps:

END TIME: Part 6 – Rich and Need Nothing? (Revised)

The last or seventh assembly of people has been called out to receive spiritual knowledge and to receive the promises for overcoming their dangerous situation. All of the messages to the seven assemblies are not only age transcending but also “end time” or, more exactly for our time: the end of the seventh age. These called-out people have existed in every generation from the time of Adam!

[First] [Prior] [Next]

The time is at hand during which all who are among the called-out ones must act quickly to change any of their unprofitable works into works of righteousness. This Bible study shows that this last assembly could apply to millions of people or to only thousands. These are the people of Laodicea.

Even though these are names of congregations found cities in Asia Minor during the time John was told to write down the words of the Book of Revelation, means little to us. The words spoken to each are far more important than any meaning applied to a name, except “Philadelphia ” (a love for the brothers), which seems to fit the works of the “loners.”

In the prior post in this Bible study series I referred to the “congregation of Satan” who said they were “Jews” but lied. The most fitting application of that turned out to be the followers of Herbert W. Armstrong who out of necessity created the Worldwide Church of God. It appears as though their intentions may have been “pure” in their own eyes, but their, works, particularly of the ministry, showed otherwise.

Does this group belong to any of the assemblies of Revelation chapters two and three?

END TIME: Part 5: The Righteous, the Blind and the Cults

The last two assemblies or groups of called-out people are probably the most well-known and the least understood. In the previous posts on the promises to overcomers, I wrote how all the problems that threatened the people were spiritual and caused by religions.

[First] [Prior] [Next]

In this Bible study we will see those who remained unaffected by religion and those who created their own. Remember all groups or assemblies of people written about in chapters two and three of the Book of Revelation consist of people who had received the call. But again, “Many are called.”

Why someone would want to create their own religion is not a big mystery. The biggest reason is because they don’t want to have anything to do with the religions that afflicted the other groups. Their eyes may have been opened to the problems of the other groups. But instead of moving into truth, they adopted traditions and practices from sources unknown to the other groups or assemblies, and made those their own. To quote the SNL Church Lady, “How convenient!”

Looking around to see how others “worship” and adopting their ways has been and still is the biggest step to creating a nation doomed to spiritual failure. The Unites States and all of Western civilization are nations that have done that.

The most difficult task is to become humble as a person and as a nation and learn the truth by obtaining the spiritual connection with Elah [God] and Eyahuwah, the One called LORD in the scriptures. In other words, returning to the righteousness of our fathers, from Adam, through Enoch, Noah and his sons, the fathers of all who live today, and through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, if you can call them your fathers. Then you will learn the truth; your life will be changed; your future will be assured; and you will fear nothing. This is true for individuals. It is true for nations.

END TIME: Part 4, More Promises for Overcomers

It should not be a surprise that the messages of chapters two and three of Revelation warn about the consequences of following harmful religious ideas. That is the message of both the Law and the Prophets. The context of religious thought, including the religions of atheism and the secular, has stood in the way of preventing individuals from truly walking with our Creator from the time of Adam to today.

[First] [Prior] [Next]

One reader wrote and was very upset that I did not teach from the Latin Vulgate translation that Jerome, commissioned by the Pope, created. But this fourth century translation caused more confusion and corruption of the Scriptures than any other document.

The Vulgate turned the meaning of the Scriptures on its head. “Faith” [fides] became a belief system taught by, guess who, the church. If a person was “faithful” [fidelis] they were “loyal” to the church. If you didn’t have this “faith” you were considered a “heretic.” “Oh, come all ye faithful [adeste fidelis],” sung every year at Christmas time, implies that if you are NOT one of the “faithful,” (as defined by the church) then “stay away.”

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: Rapture, Enoch, Ages, Hebrew, Paul

From time to time, I will write posts with answers to some of the most asked questions. This is the first of such posts.

Q. Do you believe in the rapture?

A. The “rapture” has no basis in the Bible. Although some words of Jesus are allegorically attached to the idea of a rapture, the context of those words contradicts such ideas. Paul, the Pharisee, is most often quoted in support of the rapture theory. Based on all scriptures and excluding Paul’s epistles, the prophecies foretell the resurrection at the return of Eyahuwah/Eyahushuah to the earth. He only returns, according to prophecies, after a three and one half period during which time the world, under the influence of a false “messiah,” tries to exterminate the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the righteous. The idea that the “church” will be taken off the earth during that time is not supported by scriptures. And even though there are promises of protection for the righteous those promises include death with the promise of the resurrection to eternal life. Based upon what the Scriptures, including the prophets and true apostles, teach, I find no reason to believe in a man-made fictional notion about this “us verses them” idea.

Q. Why do you quote from the Book of Enoch?

A. The Book of Enoch was rejected by the “church” in order to keep it out of the hands of the masses. The Book of Enoch, also known as I Enoch, contains prophecies that transcend the entire history of humanity. It is referred in passages in the Torah and is quoted by the true apostles. Moses knew what he was called to do in Egypt because it was written in the Book of Enoch. Jethro was a priest who may have brought this to Moses attention. but it is also possible that the Book of Enoch could have been in the Egyptian libraries and read by Moses while he was under tutelage. The book of Enoch is a key to all of the prophecies of not only the Hebrew scriptures, but also the writings of the apostles. Enoch prophesied that his words would be read during our time. Copies of his books were found in Ethiopia and buried in the caves at Qumran with the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Q. I thought we were living in the sixth age. What happened?

A. This idea comes from the a misapplication of scriptures where a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day. This then is confused with Enoch’s vision of the “weeks” or ages. Then some, without even reading Enoch, assume that Enoch is writing about a “week” of “days” and that the millennium is the “sabbath” in that week. Enoch never wrote such a thing nor can this be found in any other scripture. Enoch wrote that there would be seven weeks or ages, starting from Adam, wherein humanity would struggle under confusion, deception, and corrupt governments and religions. Some of the ages were marked by events that were to take place at the close of the ages. The sixth and seventh ages had closing events. The sixth age ended in 135 AD with the dispersion of the people of Judea as prophesied by Enoch concerning the end of that age. We are now living in the seventh age, which is called in his prophecy the “Age of Apostasy.” Considering all the religions that marked the time from 135 CE to today, it is very clear that Enoch’s prophecies are being fulfilled. The eighth age or week of Enoch’s vision will be an age of righteous rule over all the nations of the earth. Eyahuwah will return to become the King of kings, and the Master of masters.

Q. Why do you not quote from Paul’s epistles?

A. When I was young and doing my initial studies, I spent most of those early years studying the writings of Paul. At one point I read the entire book of Ephesians every day for one month. As the years went on, I became more sensitive to some of the questions and problems that began to appear in my studies. Then I found that my doubts and questions were confirmed by hundreds of writers and theologians. Paul was, perhaps, the most highly trained Pharisee of his day. His teachings and his rants were a product of his training. His writings sounded like the complaints of a cranky old man. But the big question was this: Why did none of the apostles’ teachings agree with Paul? They were not followers of Paul, and they had serious questions about his authenticity both as a teacher and as an apostle. If the apostles did not borrow anything from Paul, where did their teachings come from? The answer was obvious: from the Law or Torah, and from the Prophets and Writings of the Hebrew Scriptures! It is in them that the true Gospel can be found. But didn’t Paul quote from them? Yes, but it became obvious that, as a true Pharisee, Paul replaced the teachings of the Hebrew Scriptures with his own “private interpretations.” Instead of teaching what Jesus/Eyahushuah and the apostles taught, he replaced them and created a religion and led the world into following him. From then on the words of Jesus were fulfilled: “Multitudes will come in My Name, saying that I am the Messiah, and will deceive the masses.” Also as a result of Paul’s efforts the Age of Apostasy, revealed to Enoch, emerged in full force to this day. Why would this be allowed? So that righteous would shine like stars during this time of darkness and deception.

Q. Why do you use Hebrew transliterations?

A. I studied both Greek and Hebrew. The most popular language was Greek as most non-Jewish students of the Bible seem to have little interest in the Hebrew Scriptures. “After all, did not Paul teach that the law was done away?” Greek is a philosophical [Greek: "friend of wisdom"] language. It is definitely NOT theological. It has only one word for which the Hebrew has many. Hebrew is the most theological language that ever existed. From its very beginning, as evident in the pictograph letters, Hebrew paints a picture of the relationship of EL, ELAH, the ELAHIM, and EYAHUWAH and the people. The names of the leaders and prophets of the Hebrew Scriptures contain clues about them and their relationship with ELAH. I find it to be much wiser to understand the actual names used in the Hebrew Scriptures in references to the Almighty. I also prefer to use “The Scriptures”, a translation by the Institute for Scripture Research. Although, even it has problems, in particular with their inconsistency when referring to ELAH and the plural as “Elohim” instead of ELAHIM. Most English translations suffer because they use only “God” or “Lord” to translate the names and this hides or even obscures the meaning in the Hebrew. These names and others in Hebrew should be understood and known. Also one must keep in mind that the addition of “vowel” markings around the tenth century CE ironically introduced a pronunciation of Hebrew with a heavy accent. Also the assumption that Hebrew letters are only consonants is false. Like other languages and prior to the use of vowel markings, some letters were vowels including all the letters in the Tetragrammatron [ee - ah - oo - ah].

HIDDEN PROPHECY: The world after the flood, Enoch’s Vision, and Daniel’s messages.

The time after the great flood revealed that great changes had happened to the earth and its people. Enoch, before the flood, recorded his vision of the weeks or ages that showed the most significant events that describe the future history of human kind.

We live during the time of the end of Enoch’s seventh week. What does this vision say for us and what can we expect to happen as our age comes to a close and the next age is established on earth?

SPIRITUAL LIFE: Fasting, Meditation, and Prayer

Many pray. A growing number meditate. A few fast. How important are these to success in growing spiritually? Are prayers heard? Does meditation work? When was the last time you fasted?

Spiritually directed tools can be a powerful asset. But if not used with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, they could be a waste of time. It is hard for us to comprehend how to make these work. Even the disciples requested, “Teach us to pray.”

For a lot of people prayer becomes nothing more than begging, and that is not healthy. Religious leaders can often be heard making public prayers, and these, some think, are model prayers. But regardless of the sad state of prayer what we really want is to find out what it really is and how to make it work.

Meditation is somewhat like prayer only the difference is that nothing is said. Instead we shut down our mind, if that is possible, and go into a meditation or trance state. For a spiritual person this can be a very refreshing time. Sometimes meditation is a time that can be very valuable for dealing with life. We can go into a meditative state, become settled, and later find new insight and knowledge come to our awareness that is exactly what we needed to solve a problem or to complete a project.

Fasting is a powerful tool, but only used by a few people. It involves abstaining from eating. Sometimes, for short periods, the fasting person drinks nothing. Why do this? The thought of missing a meal is enough to make many people faint. Most people think that they will die if they skip eating anything for one day. But true spiritual fasting should take you past the point where food is no longer important or even desired, and yes, that actually happens on or about the third or fourth day.

Why should we even consider doing any one of these things? Are we nuts?

For any of these tools to be useful to our spiritual life, we must also have the needed prerequisites. It is kind of like dealing with computer software, some packages will not function unless other programs are already in the system. These packages have what are known as “dependencies.”

Prayer, meditation and fasting have dependencies and prerequisites. Prayer is not simply a matter of saying the “right” words over and over. Meditation is not just sitting in a lotus position, alone and quiet, waiting for some vision or mental flash. Fasting does not mean that going without food or drink automatically causes God to smile down on us.

No, before we can be successful, we must start at the right place.

For several years now, I have taught about something that I call the Elahim Connection. This is a true spiritual relationship with our Creator. Not just any kind of relationship but a special one. It is based on this law, “Love Eyahuwah, your Elahim, with all your heart, mind and soul, and your neighbor as you love yourself.” This is foundational. Upon this hang everything else in the Law or Torah and is the theme or spine behind the writings of the prophets, from Enoch and Moses to the Apostle John.

We must ask ourselves before any prayer, meditation, or fast: Does that “commandment” accurately represent our present and continuing state? If not, how then can we even consider that we will be successful in prayer, meditations, and fasting when we don’t even have the basic character upon which the relationship depends?

Eyahuwah is far from the wicked [those who are wrong-doers], but He hears the prayer of the righteous [those do are right-doers]. Proverbs 15:29

The prayer of a righteous man [or woman] is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Blessed is the man [or woman] who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [those who are wrong-doers] or stand in the path of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his [or her] delight is in the Law [Torah] of Eyahuwah, and he [or she] meditates on His Law [Torah] day and night. He [or she] shall be as a tree planted by the rivers of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and whose leaf does not wither, and whatever he [or she] does prospers. Psalm 1:1-4

Not only is focus and delight in the Law important to living in a spiritual relationship with Elah, but so also is attitude. Pride, having an inordinate self-esteem, blocks spiritual life. Before one can learn, one must recognize that Eyahuwah and the Elahim know everything. A Pharisee prayed:

“I thank you that I am not like other men. Extortioners. Unjust. … I fast twice in the week. I give tithes of all that I possess.”

But his prayer was not heard.

For everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled, and he who is humble shall be exalted. Luke 18:14

Those who like to be seen praying, or who make a show of their fasting, or who proclaim their generosity to the world, have their reward. But they do not have answered prayer, and their fasting does not make them spiritual, and their charity becomes a curse to them.

“Teach us to pray” is confusion. “Teach us the way of righteousness” is more on target and it is a prayer.

“When you come to appear before Me, who has required this from your hand, to trample My courtyards? Stop bringing futile offerings, incense, it is an abomination to Me. New moons, Sabbaths, the calling of meetings — I am unable to bear unrighteousness and assembly. My being hates your New Moons and your appointed times, they are a trouble to Me. I am weary of bearing them.

“And when you spread out your hands, I hide my eyes from you, even though you make many prayers, I do not hear. Your hands have become filled with blood.

“Wash yourselves. Make yourselves clean. Put away the evil doings from before My eyes. Stop doing evil! Learn to do good! Seek right-ruling. Reprove the oppressor. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says Eyahuwah, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

“If you submit and obey, you shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:12-19, The Scriptures.

There is no secret to prayer, meditation and fasting. They are simple, easy and can accomplish much. But the relationship between each of us, individually, and Eyahuwah and the Elahim only comes with humility and right-doing. It is not the result of attending meetings, whether on Sunday or on a Sabbath or on any other day.

Why are prayers not heard?

“Your rulers are stubborn and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and runs after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow reach them.

“I shall turn My hand against you, and shall refine your dross and remove your impurities. And I shall give back your judges as in the days of old, and your counselors as at the beginning. After this you shall be called the city of righteousness, a steadfast city.”

And it shall be in the latter days that the mountain of the House of Eyahuwah is established on the top of the mountains [large nations], and shall be exalted above the hills [small nations]. And all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Eyahuwah, to the House of the Elahim of Jacob, and let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Zion comes forth the Torah, and the Word of Eyahuwah from Jerusalem.” And he shall judge between the nations, and shall reprove many peoples. Isaiah 1 & 2

GOSPEL: Spirit Willing, but Flesh Weak? What to do?

Perhaps nothing can be more troublesome than finding our wishes and dreams betrayed by our own flesh. This is one of the most difficult trials of this life. We really want to live a spiritual life, but we find that our body and brain let us down. Is there a way to escape this conflict and come out the victor?

There are decisions we can make in life that start us on paths that are not good. This kind of living has made the news recently concerning both young and mature people living an “easy” and dangerous life. These are only prime examples of a kind of life that affects millions. They have money, friends, and can do what they want. This can lead to doing things that are anti-life. Drugs, alcohol abuse, out-of-control sex, and wild parties play a major role in bringing people down.

The Scriptures tell us to guard our path, to learn wisdom, and have understanding and knowledge and let them guide our way. But if we don’t follow this way, from a very early age, we can make mistakes from which we may never recover in this lifetime. Some may call this karma. It is more like what you sow, so shall you harvest.

The Scriptures use farming as an example of life. A sower can plant good seed and look forward to a good harvest. But if someone comes along and sows bad seed and weeds, then the harvest can be destroyed or overcome by the weeds. When that happens in life, a harvest of evil can mature later.

For they sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind. Hosea 8:7

You have ploughed wrongness, you have reaped unrighteousness. You have eaten the fruit of deception. Hosea 10:13

Where can we find good seed to sow in our life? And how can we recover from the evil after it had been sown? These are tough questions and require tough answers.

I wrote in another post about how all killing will be placed upon the religions we follow that came out of Babylon. “In her was found the blood of the prophets and of the set-apart ones, and all who have been killed on the earth.” Revelation 18:24. That is a very serious indictment, but when understood, it is very true.

The Christian religion, taking its cues from Paul, no longer takes the Law or Torah seriously. Rarely have they spent sufficient prayer and meditation in the Law to learn what it really does say. I have even heard preachers on the radio, TV and on the Internet tell the people that all the prophecies of the Old Testament were fulfilled and we should only read what Paul wrote. Absolute and deadly nonsense.

When we understand the Law, what it says and to whom it applies, suddenly the mind is open to what a righteous life is all about. But too often cults or sects arise and lacking understanding they try to impose their interpretation of the Law when they have absolutely no authority to do so.

The Law is not designed for only a select few people in some religious way. It applies to all who live and breathe. That includes everyone from the chief rulers of nations to the poorest person alive. There are Laws for rulers and for personal relationships. There are Laws for priests (Levites), too, and if we are not priests or Levites, these are not for us, except we can learn the spiritual meaning of these laws.

And that is where the problem is. Religion would not find a place in the Law, because the people were to be taught and helped by “Kings and Priests.” If these fail in their responsibilities, then all the rest of the populations suffers. And what makes the end result worse is when the duties of the priests are supplanted by the misguidings of religion.

“And now, O priests, this command is for you. If you do not hear and if you do not take it to heart, to give honor and respect to My Name,” says Eyahuwah of hosts, “I shall send a curse upon you, and I shall curse your blessings. And indeed, I have cursed them, because you do not take it to heart. See, I shall rebuke your seed and scatter dung before your faces, the dung of your festivals. And you shall be taken away with it.

“And you shall know that I have sent this command to you so that My covenant with Levi might continue,” says Eyahuwah of hosts. “My covenant with him was life and peace, and I gave them to him, to fear. And he feared Me and stood in awe of My Name.

“The Torah (Law) of truth was in his mouth and unrighteousness was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace, and turned many away from crookedness. For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and they seek the Torah from his mouth, for he is the messenger of Eyahuwah of hosts.”

“But you, you have turned from the way. You have caused many to stumble in the Torah. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi,” says Eyahuwah of hosts, “and I also, I shall make you despised and low before all the people, because you are not guarding My ways, and are showing partiality in the Torah.” Malachi 2:1-9

“What are we to do? Where are the priests? Where are those who can show us the way?”

Exactly!

The days of punishment are coming. The days of reckoning are at hand. Let [my people] know this. Because of the greatness of your your crookedness, the prophet is considered a fool, the ‘man of the Spirit’ is [thought] ‘mad,’ and great is the enmity. Elahim’s watchman over you, Ephraim [the Western Nations], is the prophet, but [you set] a trapper’s snare in all his paths. Enmity and hatred is against the House of his Elahim. They have deeply corrupted themselves. Hosea 9:7-9

We suffered in the past, suffer now, and will suffer in the future because of three things:

  1. The priests (Levites) abdicated their duties and their covenant with Eyahuwah.
  2. Religions, sects, and cults sprung up and taught the people another way and, in trying to hold on to the people, millions have been killed by them and their way.
  3. We do not listen to the instruction and help available in the Scriptures.

I received some horrific news a short time ago that a young man, a friend, had taken his own life. He was not a evil person. He was a genuine person who wanted to do right, but he made some mistakes that led him to try to solve his situation by stopping his life. He was troubled by this conflict of spirit against flesh.

My friend sought comfort and help from drugs, including Xanax, and the drugs took control. He could not escape the cravings of his own body. He wanted to do right, but he did not have the strength. The flesh was weak.

I don’t blame my friend for taking his life. It is sad, troubling, and not to be forgotten. The questions “Why?” and “What could we have done to prevent this?” cannot be answered by the “wisdom” of this world, because this world, sadly, does not know the Way!

My friend, like so many others, could no longer stomach this world and how his life and actions worked within it. His problems were pitted against the solutions he formulated in his mind. Perhaps he only saw that he could not overcome the weaknesses of his own flesh, and so he felt helpless. Instead of continually bringing frustration and anguish to those he loved, he felt that the only rational solution was to cut off the “offending member,” which in this case he felt was him. Whether this was an act courage or depression only he could say.

But there is good news!

According to the promises, he will be raised from the dead and given a new clean body and a fresh start on life. So will many other people who died as a result of the failure of those whose job was to “turn many away from crookedness.”

The great message of the gospel is the good news that people, like my friend, will be saved from the evil in this world. He will not be condemned and “sent to hell” as the Christian religions think fitting. Instead he will stand on his feet, in his next waking moment, and someone will be there to embrace him and tell him to come. He will be told that his suffering is over. His torment has passed. He can then enter into the Kingdom of his spiritual Father on earth. There he will find Kings and Priests who will help him to understand Life. He can build his own house, and no one will take it from him. He will plant vegetables, fruit trees, and flowers in his own gardens that he will enjoy and no thief will steal from him. He will be at peace. He will see his daughter and all the people he loved. He will live a very long and happy life. His joy will be greater than his sorrow ever was.

That is true not only for him, but for all. When we know the truth, it will set us free.

What can we do now?

We must make straight paths for our feet and not let ourselves be turned out of the Way. We must purify our bodies, and turn from anything that would destroy our hope. We must exercise wisdom in everything we do. We must seek for understanding and good knowledge that will provide clarity for all the decisions that we must make in this life. And we must look forward to our future with hope and assurance that the One who made the promises through our fathers and through the prophets will do exactly as He said He would. All of these things are available NOW from the Source of our Life.

But if we scoff and turn away from truth during this life, we face uncertainty in this life, frustration, suffering and trouble. NOT because there is a “mean” God someplace that wants to inflict pain and suffering, but rather because our own actions bring this on us. The Scriptures provide warnings and instructions that could save us now, if we listen and take action combined with fasting, prayer and meditation.

Wisdom calls aloud outside. She raises her voice in the broad places. At the head of the noisy streets she cries out, “How long, you simple ones, would you love simplicity, and scoffers delight in their scoffing, and fools hate knowledge?

“Turn at my reproof. See, I pour out my spirit on you. I make my words known to you. Because I called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one inclined, and you spurned all my counsel and would not yield to my reproof.

“Let me also laugh at your calamity and mock when your dread comes, when your dread comes like a storm, and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. Then let them call on me, but I will not answer. Let them seek me, but not find me.

“Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Eyahuwah, they did not accept my counsel.
