RADIO: Trials, Suffering, Persecution, and Life

Why do “bad” things happen to good people? What does is mean to travel the difficult and narrow path? We all wonder why, when we are presented with the promises of a “wonderful life”, so few achieve what they consider to be “the life.”

It appears, when we understand it, this life is not IT! This is only a time of passing through. Sooner or later it will come to an end. Why? What is it all about?

Change in Broadcasts!!!

Below is the broadcast for the Enoch Sabbath day. When I prepared for it, I went over the chapters in Isaiah that were on the schedule. But as I read them, I realized that these chapters were not intended to be the message for that day.

Considering all the comments and emails I have received recently, and the events happening in my own life, I realized that many of you who read the blog and listen to the broadcasts are also suffering and wondering. Concerning the broadcasts I was having some difficulty editing the prior broadcasts and delivering them on time. As I prayed about it, I was given a thought with a question, “Why do you think you have to edit them?” The answer, of course, was “You don’t.” Those who listen to them in real time are partners and sharing in the experiences, laughter, cats opening doors, stumbling over words, mistakes in reading, garbage trucks, phones ringing, and the object: a spontaneous experience of learning through the Spirit.

Sure those who listen to the archives get to listen to a “cleaned up” message. But from now on, when I have finished a broadcast, I will immediately publish it, mistakes and all.

Prior to starting at 7:00 PM Pacific time, I play about 15 minutes of music. This helps me make sure everything is working. At 15 seconds before the actual broadcast, I start recording. You will hear 15 seconds of music and then I start. I have been surprised at how many people are waiting for me to turn on that pre-show music!
