ENOCH: Prophet for All Ages and Father of All Living

Although few realize it, Enoch‘s impact on the lives of all who are alive today is profound.

First, he is the father of all who are alive today and all who have lived since the great flood. He is also the great-grandfather of Noah.

Second, the prophecies in the Books of Enoch transcend time and place. No scholar can make a claim that his writings were recently written, and few are willing to admit that Enoch prophesied the burning of the Temple in 70 CE and the dispersion of the people in 135 CE, which happened after a three and a half year rebellion against the Romans that ended in defeat. His prophecy coincides with Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy, which was given to him by the messenger Gabriel.

Third, all who came along after Enoch, including the Prophets who wrote the Hebrew Scriptures and the Apostles who wrote the New Testament, knew Enoch‘s books and referred to them either directly or indirectly. His writings were not questioned, and instead formed the “stasis” or foundation upon which all subsequent prophecies and Scripture are based.

Enoch’s Visions Revealed the Future History of Mankind

Enoch wrote the visions that he saw. For example, the first of his dream visions painted a picture of the coming great flood. The second used a metaphor of “clean and unclean” animals, and revealed the entire history of the human race from the beginning until all reach their ultimate and fore-ordained great destiny. Without this vision the true meaning of the “clean and unclean” meats of Leviticus …
cannot be understood. Because of this vision and through Enoch‘s writings, Moses learned what was going to happen to the people of Israel in Egypt and how they would escape from Pharoah.

Enoch also saw how time was divided into “weeks” or ages of random length.

For example, we are living near the end of the Seventh week. This started shortly after 135 AD or CE and has continued to this day. We know this because of the events noted above, which he saw that marked the close the Sixth Week or Age: “a man would ascend, the House of Dominion would be burned, and the entire race of the Chosen Root would be dispersed.” Daniel’s vision of the 70 weeks, at least 7 plus 62 of those 70, were directly tied to Enoch‘s vision of the close of the Sixth age.

Enoch was the first to tell about the resurrection from the dead.

He saw how all people who lived and died would come up from their graves. Moses was also given the Feasts and High Days found in the Torah and how they were to be placed upon the calendar revealed to Enoch. Enoch wrote how he received the Law of the calendar by direct contact with the Messenger Uriel.

The visions of Enoch are to be understand in the context of the symbols used to portray the subject of the visions. Other writings and in particular in the Fifth book of Enoch are clear and plain discussions of the blessings promised to the righteous and the curses and woes layed away for the “sinners.”

World Suffers Because We have Lived Apart From Our Father Enoch

Believe it or not, all people suffer today because Enoch‘s writings were lost or hidden away by unrighteous religious leaders. This loss caused a powerful disconnect between our view of life and the reality of the powerful Spiritual help available for our well-being. In fact, you probably can’t explain why you have troubles and problems in this life.

This is not your fault.

Enoch explains who is responsible and what is going to happen to the one and his cohorts who brought this evil into the world. He also explains how we will be delivered from the curse this brought upon us all. This also explains the real meaning of the Day of Atonement, which nearly everyone gets wrong.

For years I tried to understand what the Scriptures tried to tell me and, for that matter, the rest of the world. But in spite of my best efforts and training, progress was almost non-existent. I spent thousands of dollars on books and education, and, which amounted to nothing but a handful of dust. I think back that the only things of value were friends, the knowledge of languages, and reference materials. I read many books written by Christian authors, and even though these may have raised my spirits for a short time, nothing stuck with me. They were like clouds without water.

Then after decades of searching for what I could not say, I discovered the Book of Enoch and read it in one sitting. Then I began to slowly understand the prophecies that were written ages ago for this time and generation, and then over time the Scriptures started to make sense. Why? Because Enoch provides the context and the visions of reality upon which everything else was based. His five books of the Book of Enoch are a key to all Scripture, including the Eastern spiritual writings, which according to tradition were carried on the ark by Noah.

Whose Is Blamed For All the Killing in The World?

All the killing in the world, from the time of Adam until the end of the ages falls upon the religions of the world. They suppressed truth, and tried to keep the people in darkness and subject to their assumed power and authority. They killed the Prophets, the Apostles, and the Righteous, any who loved the truth and guarded the inspired words of Scriptures, including Enoch‘s writings. “In her was found the blood of all who have been killed on the earth.” (From Revelation 18).

Early into the second and third centuries of the Current Era, a plot was hatched by religious leaders to ban the reading of Enoch. Enoch saw this age as the Age of Apostasy, and even though it created many works, all of them are apostate. Probably to hide this damning prophecy, Enoch became a lost prophet to the people of the world, who were his true offspring.

The only thing anybody ever knew about him was that “he walked with God, and he was no more because God took him.” And even that wasn’t known for centuries because the Church and its daughters banned the reading of Scriptures.

Few knew that Enoch was quoted by both Peter and Jude. Even the Pharisee, Paul made reference to Enoch‘s vision of the weeks and the coming of the Apostasy. And Jesus’ words reflected both the context and the reality of all of Enoch‘s visions and theology.

Others, who dote upon the religions of this world and kiss the ground its leaders walk on, will try to tell you that Enoch‘s writings are a waste of time. But again, who made zealots of these?

Should Enoch‘s Writings Be Hard to Understand?

Even if you were able to get your hands on the Books of Enoch, were you able to understand what was written? Frankly, I found them obscure and hard to understand. If you experienced this problem, I hope you did not think that there was something wrong with you.

It isn’t your fault!

Here’s why …

Enoch‘s writings were discovered in a small worship building in Ethiopia by an explorer from England, named Bruce who brought three copies back to England in the late 1700s.

The most famous translation was that of R. H. Charles made sometime in the first five years of the 20th century. His work is now in the public domain.

But Enoch‘s writings suffered at the hands of translators, who were scholars in deed, but who lacked the gift of spiritual discernment. Charles did not recognize the probability that Enoch actually wrote the books. Instead, he thought they were originally written “pseudographically” by many authors. He failed to understand that Enoch‘s books are copies of earlier and more ancient manuscripts, which was what the scribes were trained to do anyway.

Charles failed to comprehend the prophetic significance and timelessness of Enoch‘s writings. Unfortunately, the translations reflected a certain religious tone, were hard to understand, contained words that are now considered archaic or obsolete, and showed poor sentence structures with grammatical errors. Not only that, certain passages were written in the style of “King James English” of 1611, almost as though that was the language spoken by Enoch and the Messengers from Heaven.

Because of these problems, not all of what Enoch wrote was understandable, and some obscure passages gave the impression that the translators did not understand what they were translating. Some republished this translation, but no one had made any attempt to make it clear and plain, and instead they felt a false obligation to preserve the original translation, instead of trying to make plain the message of Enoch.

Much of what I write in this blog and in my books relies heavily upon the context of Enoch‘s writings. Without that, as I said, Scripture would not make any sense.

For example,

  • Try to understand the meaning of the many sacrifices of the Feast of Weeks/Firstfruits without Enoch, and without the Book of Revelation!
  • Try to comprehend the frustration of the post-exilic prophets when they observed the returnees from Babylon keeping the Feasts and High days, and even the weekly Sabbath, on unclean days.
  • And what is the meaning of the unclean and filthy clothes worn by Joshua, the priest, in Zechariah 3?
  • What is meaning of the sign in Revelation 12 of the woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of 12 stars on her head?
  • When is the beginning and the end of the 1335 days of Daniel’s vision?
  • What does the 2,300 evenings and mornings have to do with that?
  • And who really was the one most call Jesus Christ? Did He exist (as His Hebrew name suggests) before?

Even though the writings of Enoch are the key to unlocking the mysteries of Scripture, a simple read through probably will not work. There are many ways to enter into the realm of the Spirit, but they all lead to one ultimate objective: the creation of a person who is no longer part of the world, but instead understands and experiences the reality of the Kingdom or Domain of God (Elohim.)

Understanding the depth of Scripture, including Enoch, is only possible through Spiritual discernment through the Spirit of God working in each of us, individually. Each of us must seek and find where the Path starts in our separate lives. You cannot find this by joining some group or religious order or organization.

Then instead of thinking that we have finally arrived, we understand that walking the Path can only be accomplished one step at a time. Every now and again we become aware of how far we have come and instead of looking back, perhaps in an attempt to re-experience something in our past, we find we can only look forward with anticipation to what is in store for us in our future.

Enoch is foundational to all Spiritual understanding including even the important mystical life of the Spirit.

‘Hear, you sons of Enoch, all the words of your father, and listen with attention to the voice of my mouth, for I exhort you and say to you, beloved, love uprightness and walk therein. Do not come near to uprightness with a double heart, and do not associate with those who have a double heart. Walk in righteousness, my sons, and it will guide you on good paths, and righteousness will be your companion. Because I know that violence must increase on the earth, and a great punishment will be executed on the earth. All unrighteousness will come to an end. Yes, it will be cut off from its roots, and its whole structure will be destroyed.

But unrighteousness will again be consummated [completed] on the earth, and all the deeds of unrighteousness, violence, and transgression will prevail in a twofold degree.

And when sin, unrighteousness, blasphemy, and violence in all kinds of deeds increase, and apostasy, transgression, uncleanness increase, a great punishment will come from heaven upon all these, and the holy Lord will come forth with wrath and chastisement to execute judgment on earth. In those days violence, unrighteousness, and deceit together will be cut off from their roots, and they will be destroyed from under heaven.

All the idols of the heathen will be abandoned, and the temples burned with fire and removed from the whole earth. And the heathen will be cast into the judgment of fire and will perish in wrath and in grievous judgment forever.

And the righteous will arise from their sleep, and wisdom will arise and be given to them. For who is there, of all the children of men, that is able to hear the voice of the Holy One without being troubled? Who can think His thoughts?

Who is there that can look upon all the works of heaven? And how should there be one who could look into the heaven, and who is there that could understand the things of heaven and see a soul or a spirit and could tell [the difference] between them, or ascend and see all their ends and ponder them or do like them?

Who is there of all men that could know what is the breadth and the length of the earth, and to whom has been shown the measure of all of them? Or is there any one who could discern the length of the heaven and how great is its height, and upon what it is founded, and how great is the number of the stars, and where all the luminaries rest?

And now I tell you, my sons, and show you the paths of righteousness and the paths of violence. Yes, I will show them to you again that you may know what will happen. Now listen to me, my sons, and walk in the paths of righteousness, and do not walk in the paths of violence, because all who walk in the paths of unrighteousness will perish forever.
From Enoch: The Book Behind the Bible, Chapter 91, edited by Dr. Timothy Sakach

And now I say to you, my sons, love righteousness and walk in its paths. Because the paths of righteousness are worthy of approval and acceptance, but the paths of unrighteousness will suddenly be destroyed and vanish. And to certain men of a generation will the paths of violence and death be revealed, and they will keep themselves far from them [the paths of righteousness] and will not follow them.

I say to you, the righteous, do not walk in the paths of wickedness, nor in the paths of death, and do not draw even get close to them, for fear that you be destroyed by them. But seek and choose for yourselves righteousness and a set-apart life, and walk in the paths of peace, and you will live and prosper.

Hold my words tightly in the thoughts of your hearts, and do not allow them to be erased from your hearts and allow no manner of temptation diminish them. Because I know that sinners will tempt men to evilly-treat wisdom so that no place may be found for her.

The Book Behind the Bible

or

The Great Destiny of Human Kind
as Revealed to Our Father, Enoch

A Completely Revised Translation
From the R. H. Charles
Translation of 1912

Edited and Revised by
Dr. Timothy J. Sakach, Ph.D.

If you own a copy of the Bible, then you should also own this book. Enoch‘s writings are the backbone of Scripture. This may seem hard to believe but any attempt to understand the Scripture without first understanding Enoch will lead to confusion and misunderstanding. Enoch contains several Keys that unlock the mysteries of prophecy and why the world is the way it is.
