END TIME: Part 2, Birth Pains of the New World Start Now

The end of the age prophecies proclaim one thing: either you overcome the world now, or the world will be taken from you and replaced by a world run by the Overcomers. In other words, if you are an Overcomer, you are entitled to receive a promise of sovereignty and eternal life.

[Previous] [Next]

It is hard to imagine, but the prophecies of Scripture show that the next age, the eighth of Enoch’s vision, will be unlike anything humanity has ever experienced. Mankind has never lived during a time of right-ruling. There have been brief times in the history of the nation of Israel, when the kings and priests came close to ruling with righteousness, such as, during the time of King David, but even that time had its problems and failures.

In this Bible study series we will learn that the world and all the stuff in it, that existed from Adam to the time of the end of our age, the place we call “home” and get “goose-pimples” over, will cease to be: nations will lose their leaders; religions will be destroyed; educational systems will cease; entertainment industries will be shut down. Anything that we know of in this world will collapse around us. Those who proved that they could not overcome the world will find that the world that overcame them will no longer exist.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that the “world” means the earth. The “world” is not the product of the earth. The “world” has been created by the people over millennia. It doesn’t represent the best that the people can do. The idea that “every day and in every way, we are getting better and better” is not true. Thinking that we have evolved to the point that we are “enlightened” and “we now know better” is form of insanity. “This is not the 90s, when we were dumb.” This is the 21st century when we got “dumberer“! That should be obvious if you watch TV and pay attention to the news.

The primary definition of “world” from Merriam Websters Collegiate Dictionary, 10th Edition is “the earthly state of human existence.” That “state” is what we “love” or “hate” about our life. And that is what is going to change beginning now and continuing to the next age.

This is what Eyahuwah of armies, the Almighty says:

In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Delight of all nations, and I shall fill this House with esteem. The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine. Let the esteem [high regard] of this House be greater than the former. And in this place I give peace. Haggai 2

Nothing that we have ever known or experienced throughout the entire span of human life to this day will be viewed with the profound high regard and praise for the world that is about to come.

Who then will be the rulers at that time? Will it be ruled by angels, as some think? From where will these come?

In the Book of Revelations they are given a “new” name: The Overcomers.

The first of the seven seals, when opened, unleashed a very powerful force upon the people of earth.

And I looked and saw a white horse, and he who sat on it holding a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went out overcoming and to overcome. 6:2 (The Scriptures)

Many assume that this must refer to “Jesus” and in that they are partly right. It appears to be a “Jesus” but it is not One who is Trustworthy and True, who has many crowns and comes to smite the nations described in Revelation 19.

This single-crowned one is a deceiver, a conqueror of the people with a religious message about “Jesus.” This one overcomes or conquers the people with a “Christian” message not taught by either Eyahushuah or the apostles and prophets.

“Multitudes will come in My Name claiming that I am the Messiah and will deceive the masses.” Matthew 24:5 (from the Greek)

As a consequence of unleashing this powerful force upon the world, many have been overcome.

Is not the world supposed to be “saved” by “Jesus”?

Yes, but not by the “Jesus” around which so many many religions have been created. The Christian churches are founded upon the teachings of Paul, the Pharisee. He preached “another Jesus” but he also accused the apostles of doing the same, that is, Paul accused them of preaching a “Jesus” and a “gospel” that was different from what he taught. The apostles did not consider Paul to be an authority, and they did not preach Paul’s message, and they did not recognize his claim of apostleship.

Peter said, regarding the position that opened up after Judas hanged himself, “May another take his place of leadership.” (A quote from Psalm 109.)

And then according to the book of Acts, Peter went on to say:

Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who has been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must be a witness with us of his resurrection. Acts 1:21-22 NIV

Paul had none of these qualifications, although he claimed to have been a witness to Jesus’ resurrection. He wrote, “last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.” To back up this claim, Paul had Jesus quote from the Greek poets! Also there were no witnesses to Paul’s experience, although he gave contradictory statements regarding his supposed witnesses to his “epiphany.”

The world will be saved only by the One whose name is “The Word of Eyahuwah.” Rev 19:13, John 1. Is this a mystery?

Why allow deception?

The answer is directly tied to the ultimate role that will be identified with the overcomers. For that we must start at the beginning of the Book of Revelation where the foundation is built. From The Scriptures translation, the book starts:

Revelation of Eyahushuah the Messiah, which Elah have Him to show His servants what has to take place with speed. And He signified it by sending His messenger to His servant Yohanan (John). 1:1

The revelation is not John’s revelation, but rather the revelation given to Eyahushuah the Messiah, (Chosen and Anointed One) from Elah. Also the revealed events were to begin very quickly.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and guard what is written in it, for the time is near.

John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia, Favor to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven Spirits that are before His throne, and from Eyahushuah the Messiah, the trustworthy witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings (sovereigns) and priests to His Elahim (Family) and Father (Elah).

The last paragraph is usually glossed over with a statement like “Yes, yes. We know all about this.” But there are several things said here that are thematic to the entire Revelation.

The One “who is and who was and who is coming,” is not the one we all Jesus. We will find out just who this One is and why His coming is so important and why this Revelation is about everything that must be done between now and that event. This distinction is made clear in this context. Notice that Eyahushuah is separated from “Him who is and who was and who is coming” by “the seven Spirits” acknowledgment. That, Eyahushuah (”Jesus”) and He “who is, was and is coming,” are two different Entities is important in understanding the Book of Revelation. And why we must act now to prepare for this change. The only way to do that is to become an overcomer!

After the seventh trumpet sounds these things are proclaimed:

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah (chosen and anointed One), and He shall reign for ever and ever.”

And the twenty-four elders sitting before Elah on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped Elah, saying

“We give thanks to You, Lord Elah Almighty, who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. The nations were angry and Your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding Your servants the prophets and Your set-apart ones and those who reverence Your name, both small and great — and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

Again, two Entities are mentioned. This has always been a troubling phrase in Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” from The Messiah. But it means what it says. It identifies who is in charge of what is about to happen. The Book of Revelation from Elah and given to Eyahushuah makes a clear distinction between the two from beginning to end — something that has been overlooked until now.

In chapter 11:17 some eager translator or scribe must have thought that the phrase “who is coming” was accidentally left out and added it and therefore it appears in some translations. But this was not the correct thing to do as the phrase “who was and who is” is correct and the context declares why. The Westcott and Hort Greek text did not even mention a “who is coming” phrase and documented that the only alternate rendering of that phrase is the word “and” between “was” and “because”: “who is and who was, [and] because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.” (NIV)

At the time of the end of the seventh age, One, Elah, is taking control of the affairs on earth and will continue to rule for ever and ever — throughout all ages to come. So at the instant this happens, it is no longer appropriate to say “who is and who was and who is to come” because the third part will have been fulfilled. There is no future “who is to come.” Then and forever after, it is only correct to say “who is and who was!”

This then is a time of great reward for those who overcame the world, before its systems are rendered null and void.

Enoch wrote (Chapter 1):

The Holy Great One [Elah] will come forth from His dwelling, and the Eternal Elah will tread upon the earth, and shall appear from His camp and appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens. And all shall be smitten with fear, and the Watchers shall quake, and great fear and trembling shall seize them to the ends of the earth. And the high mountains [great nations] shall be shaken, and the high hills [small nations] shall be made low, and shall melt like wax before the flame. And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder, and all that is upon the earth shall perish [governments, institutions, religions, politics, isms, causes, traditions, interpretations, etc]. And there shall be judgment upon all Mankind.

But with the righteous He shall make peace, and will protect the chosen, and mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to Elah, and they shall be prospered, and they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, and light shall appear to them, and He will make peace with them.

And behold, He comes with ten thousands of His holy ones to execute judgment upon all, and to destroy all the ungodly, and to convict all flesh of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

To look to the future through the fogginess created by the deceivers has now become more deadly than ever. We have this time to overcome the world and its “things” and make certain now that we are ready to enter an even greater life than we can imagine. This is a time for “casting away!” From Ezekiel 18:

The Master Eyahuwah says:

“And the House of Israel [an archetype of humanity] have said, ‘ The way of Eyahuwah is not right.’ Are My ways not right, O House of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not right?

“Therefore I judge you, O House of Israel, every one according to his [or her] ways. Repent and turn back from your transgressions, and let not crookedness be a stumbling-block to you. Cast away from you all the transgressions by which you have transgressed, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O House of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies. So turn back and live!”

END TIME: Part 1, The Overcome and What They Must Overcome

Posted by Dr. Timothy J. Sakach Ph. D. at 23 August, 2007, 12:26 am

After finishing the series on the events that mark the end of our age, I began to understand even more fully why overcoming is what we must do NOW if we desire to be part of the “better resurrection.” Promises of Eternal Life were made to the overcomers. Who are they?

[Next]

This may turn into a Bible study series, and if so I do not apologize because at least for me it will be worth it, and my hope is that it will be so for you, too.

The book of Revelation uses the word “overcome” 17 times. The name “Israel” means, “an overcomer with El” or one who prevailed to victory with El. Hence Jacob’s name was changed to reflect this great success. Prophecies foretell of one nation that will consist of “overcomers” when Eyahuwah returns to the earth. And Ezekiel, given the vision of the valley of dry bones, saw the “whole House of Israel” raised from the dead at beginning of the next age!

But along with the “whole House of Overcomers with El” (Israel) are people from every tribe, nation, and language who overcame the world during their lifetime in the first seven ages and became separate, clean, and worthy.

What more can be said about the importance of being an “overcomer” and not someone who has been “overcome?”

If you are not an overcomer, then you may find some offense in what I am about to write, but the Book of Revelation emphasized that the promises of power and authority, immortality, and all good things were made to overcomers!

What are the characteristics of someone who is overcome?

First, there is a fanatical view of one’s importance in the world. He or she is at the center of a universe around which all else revolves. These are overcome by the importance of their own thoughts. Every idea that passes through their mind is sacred. If someone tries to challenge these ideas, notions, and musings, the owner is deeply offended and accuses the challenger of arrogance. The retort is, “How can you say that about me?” Pride, greed, envy, hatred and such like, can overcome and conquer the person and cause anyone so afflicted to be cut off from the Spiritual resources available through Eyahuwah and the Elahim Therefore, we must overcome these things that will overcome us, if we allow them to do so.

Second, there are those who have been overcome by scholarship and research. Not that these are bad things, they are not. But the person is not overcome by that but rather by the headiness that these bring. I said in another post that degrees are a trap. I know, I have them. But it is not simply a degree that seems to overcome people, rather it is the society and peer pressure that overcomes people. I had a friend who pursued his degrees with ardor and finally arrived at the point of getting his doctorate. Much to his dismay, he found that his judges were the most snobbish, “superior” faculty members and among the worst of the scholars. For them to be satisfied you had to kiss their you-know-whats, and do and say things that you know were not true and lacked integrity. Because of the hypocrisy, cronyism, and the sheer unreal-ism of the process, he had to walk away and fore-go his Ph. D. Rather than be “overcome” by them, he chose instead to be an overcomer. Yes, overcoming sometimes requires that you walk away from the world.

Third, religion of any size or shape is one of the greatest overcomers of the world. All religions are of the world. This includes churches, denominations, sects, cults, and all the “isms.” Hard to believe, but Scriptures and real life experiences prove this to be true. I wrote in another post about how the religions will be destroyed before the end of this age. There will be no “Catholic” religion in the next age of right doing. Neither will there be Judaism or Islam. There will be no Christian Conventions, revivals, Sunday School, or “sacred” rituals. Neither will there be the name “Jesus” or “church” or “God” or “Eucharist” or other such-like religious names or vocabulary.

Why?

Because these are the overcoming tools that are used to conquer (overcome) the minds of the followers.

During the time of the eighth age, we will learn new words, new songs, and most importantly, the truth. But the best thing that one can do now is to overcome and personally conquer the “conquering” influence of religion in one’s life.

There is more to said about the conquering influence of family, friends, peers, neighbors, poker clubs, lodges, media, in fact, about anything in this world that we can join or are already a part of. Each group from family into which we are born to the country we belong to that can conquer and overcome each of us individually. And if we decide to not follow their unprofitable ways, they may rather see us dead than alive. Attempting to reason with those who have been overcome is impossible. They appear to be in a deep sleep of hypnotism. Anything that tries to bring them out of their stupor is like playing with matches in a fireworks warehouse.

My hope is that through this Bible study series each of you will have a clearer view of the reality that exists apart from the world’s. The place to start, believe it or not, is the Book of Revelation, in spite of some who although part of this world, think they have a better way.

Why would the Book of Revelation place so much importance on overcoming?

Let’s find out.

To be continued …

P. S. This is the third time I felt that I had to change the headlines of this series. The first because if appears that “overcomer” is a verbalism to many readers. The second time I changed from “eternal life” because it dawned on me that most people think they have eternal life through a supposed “immortal soul,” which they don’t. Equating eternal life with the deceitful doctrine of the”immortal soul” is a gross mistake through all Christianity. So I changed to “end-time,” which is a main thread running through the Book of Revelation and the rest of the Scriptures.
