Confusion reigns when it comes to the idea that anyone could be raised from the dead. Would we get our old body back? How does it work? If you are in heaven, would you come back to pick up the pieces?
The raising of the dead is one of the oldest teachings, predating even the great flood. It was considered as a given by our Fathers.
But at the same time, many myths sprung up that found their way into our religions, including Christianity. These include the immortality of the soul, going to heaven or hell when you die, the resurrection of our old body, the rapture ( a relatively new teaching,) Jesus descending into hell instead of staying in the tomb, purgatory, limbo, the beatific vision, ghosts, and disembodied souls. The list can go on as the “Afterlife,” in whatever form, makes up the core of religious teaching and beliefs worldwide.
Then there is reincarnation, which simply means, “coming back to life in different bodies.” A formerly alive being dies and the life that was in them is used to make new life. It is sort of a green approach to living things, as though there is a fixed amount of life, like fossil fuel.
Some claim to have lived past lives. The problem is that they are experiencing “memories” of a past life while they are alive now. Albert Einstein understood how this works. To test his idea, I ran experiments to see if we can both create and read focused mental thoughts. Using six shapes, the first test proved that guessing, without the aid of focused thought returned 1 out of 6 correct answers from each person. The second test added remote mental impressions by one person of pictures of the shapes to be recorded by several people in a remote location. The results shocked everyone because all the receivers were more than 65% accurate. The same tests by others under more scientific control produced nearly 75% accuracy. This experiment created by Einstein, with Boris Podolsky and Nathan Rosen is known as the EPR effect. What this tells us is that :
Human consciousness is not separate from the objects that make up the world — and there is an innate connectedness between distant objects and events (seemingly separated by both space and time) that makes information about the whole instantly available to any part of the world.” Mike Wolverton, 1981.
Therefore, it appears possible that focused thought events of the past can still be received today by those whose minds are in tune with the EPR effect. They are picking up events separated by time.
This lends scientific evidence that thinking of hatred or lust without physically committing either murder or adultery can produce the same effect in those who are the object of hatred or adultery and the one who thinks the thoughts. At least, that is what Eyahushuah (Jesus) told his disciples. Newsweek magazine on May 7, 2001 reported, “We’re wired for spirituality.” In other words, we were designed from before the beginning to be connected to Elahim
Because the myths about the afterlife are so many, I will restrict this to the resurrections revealed in Scripture. The information comes from those things revealed to the prophets and to revelations given to the Apostles of Eyahushuah (Jesus). If you don’t believe what you are about to read does not mean that these things are not true or that they will not happen. Nearly all prophecies happened to people who did not know about them or, if they were familiar with them, did not believe them. It does not depend upon us or our beliefs.
I explained in the three part series on the Kabbalah, that there is a plan and it covers three phases. This plan is no different than the plans we make when we create something: design, gather materials, and build. We are now in the material gathering phase of the grand plan, and we are the materials.
I also explained how important revelation is to our own spiritual life. If we do not get wisdom, understanding, and knowledge from our Father in heaven, then by comparison what we have is perishable and will not endure. But what we receive from our Father lasts forever and will bring us to deathless life.
Anything of a religious nature, such as creeds, various teachings, holidays, books of “oral” law and tradition, denominational doctrines, long held beliefs, religious vocabularies, rituals, litanies and so on, are unprofitable for us in the grand scheme. To understand the truth we must change our ways and our thoughts and desire with all our heart, mind, and strength, to be taught, not by flesh and blood, but by our Father in heaven.
We must get back to the righteousness of our fathers who walked with Elahim The fathers of all who are alive now are Enoch Noah and his immediate family (Shem, Ham, and Japheth), and for some of us, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel). All of these are mistakenly called Jews, but, technically, a “Jew”, is a descendant from the House of Judah comprised of descendants of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi, three of the twelve sons of Jacob or Israel. It seems so hard for people to wrap their minds around this simple fact of history.
To understand the resurrections, we also must understand the history of the descendants of the sons of Jacob. He had twelve sons and later adopted the two sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh. So Joseph counts for two not one. Joseph, as young man, was sold by his brothers to the Egyptians, where he was tried and tested. He became a ruler in Egypt and helped save that nation from famine. His sons were born in Egypt. To get relief from the famine his father and brothers and their families moved to Egypt. They also shared in the leadership of the country, but later their offspring were overpowered by the Egyptians and became slaves. The Egyptians oppressed them, beat and killed them.
In their anguish the people of Israel called to Elahim to save them, and Moses was born. Pharaoh learned from a prophecy that one was born who would free the Israelites and he tried to stop this by killing all the firstborn male children of the Israelites. Moses received protection by being set adrift in a basket and was found and raised by the daughter of Pharaoh, Moses mother became his nursemaid. Moses grew and learned the ways of Pharaoh and became a very influential leader of Egypt. Moses had to flee Egypt after an altercation with an Egyptian whom he caught beating an Israelite. Moses killed the Egyptian and left the country. He remained outside of Egypt in the house of Jethro, who was a priest.
Considering the actions taken by Moses after his return to Egypt 40 years later, he may have been taught by Jethro from the Book of Enoch which contains Enoch’s dream vision of the future history of humanity and the elect. The prophesied events of the time of Moses are recorded in chapter 89 of 1 Enoch This prophecy continues with events prophesied to happen in our future and we will return to it as we learn more about the resurrections.
After the return to the land promised to Abraham and given to Seth by lot and by an oath (Book of Jubilees,) the people of the 12 sons of Israel grew to become the Nation of Israel, one of the greatest nations of that time under the leadership of Kings David and his son Solomon. But after Solomon, and partly because of his weaknesses, the people cut themselves off from Eyahuwah Elahim They adopted religions and learned the ways of the nations around them. The one Nation of Israel split in two with the House of Israel in north land of Israel and the House of Judah who later became known as Jews or people of Judea, which was the name of south land of the former Kingdom of Israel. Now two distinct nations formed and each had their own king and calendar.
Continuing spiritual decline in the House of Israel forced Eyahuwah to abide by the agreement made at Sinai. He removed His blessing and protection and allowed the Assyrians to come down and take the House of Israel captive. Eyahuwah also removed their identity, which the people actually did on their own by forsaking the Law, disregarding the messages of the Prophets, rejected the revealed calendar and the Feasts, High days, and Sabbaths. Without cleaving to the Law and the Prophets the people became identified, not with Eyahuwah Elahim but with Baal, Moloch, and other mythic gods. The 10 tribes of the House of Israel became lost.
But Eyahuwah remained faithful to the agreement He made with Abraham, that He would make Abraham’s descendents like the sand of the sea in number. But part of that agreement required the circumcision of the men. So if you want to know if you are a son of Abraham, take a look. The odds are that if you are circumcised, Abraham is your father. It has been proven time and again that there really is no medical reason for the procedure. Yet it has been the identifying “mark” of the sons of Isaac and Ishmael for millennia, regardless of where they live in the world!
The offspring of the former 10 tribes of the House of Israel (not Jews) settled in various places around the globe. The offspring of Joseph, the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, were prophesied to play a major role in the events that happen at the end of the seventh age or “week” of Enoch’s vision. Although there is evidence that supports the concept that the 10 tribes became separate nations, the tribes of Joseph are dominant in the world, at least that is what the Prophets say, whether we “Believe It or Not.”
Concerning the House of Judah, they remained in the land until they were taken captive by the Babylonians. At that time the temple built by Solomon was destroyed, books were burned, the valuable Temple items were stolen, and the people were deported. This was done because they did the same as House of Israel and forsook the Law and did not listen to the Prophets. But Eyahuwah preserved their identity so that they could preserve the writings, the Law (Torah), the Prophets, the Writings, which were the books for the common people. They also preserved other books that were to be understood by the wise and knowledgeable.
The Jews remained in captivity for 70 years and then were allowed to return. But during the time of their captivity blindness came upon the people and they could no longer grasp wisdom, instead they adopted the writings of the Pharisees, and substituted the Babylonian calendar and its lunar months as their own and placed the Feasts and High days on that calendar. Eyahuwah speaking through the post-exilic prophets, Zechariah and Malachi, warned the people and the priests to not keep the Feasts on unclean days, including the Sabbaths. But knowing that they really didn’t care, He said that they would be dispersed also. He also promised that salvations was coming when Eyahuwah comes to live on and rule the earth. The dispersion, prophesied by Enoch Daniel, Malachi, and Eyahushuah (Jesus) came in 135 AD after the Romans crushed the final revolt led by a false messiah named Bar-Kokhba.
During the time of the exile in Babylon, two prophets, Ezekiel and Daniel, were given visions and instructions concerning the end of the ages. It is in these writings that promises of the resurrection and of the new age were recorded.
Understanding this background is essential to comprehend the resurrections to come and what they will mean, who is involved, and the impact these will have on Mankind and the world.
I refer to 1 Enoch, also called the Book of Enoch. Quotes from this document where made by Moses (Genesis 6:2-4), Jesus (Matthew 25:41), Peter (2 Peter 2:4), Jude (6), and in many other places in the Scriptures. Understanding the spiritual meaning of clean and unclean animals requires the Book of Enoch, as does the resurrection and why there is another resurrection at the end of the 1000 years (Revelation 20:5).
Copies were found in Ethiopia in the 1700s from which some were taken to Britain. Copies of the book have also been found among the Dead Sea scrolls. These were dated to at least 200 BC. Some claim that was also the time of its writing, but this is poor scholarship because that was the time these copies were made, similar to the copy of the Isaiah scroll.
Enoch was the father of Methuselah and the great, great grandfather of Noah. Enoch was translated by Elohim (God) according to Genesis 5:24:
In his book Enoch tells that he wrote for our time and for us, his descendants. He said we would be reading his words now.
There are several translations, but the most popular was made by Richard H. Charles.
The main proof for the authenticity Enoch’s writings does not come from scholary efforts, but rather from fulfilled prophecy. For example, in Enoch’s vision of the ages, which he called “weeks” and from which the Feast of Weeks gets its significance, he tells about the sixth week or age,
This all happened. And the 6th age came to an end in 135 AD.
Hi…I quite agree with the EPR effect. The laws of attraction all fall into place when you understand EPR..
